More Work

Spring 2010, We've been up a few times to paint the interior. The pictures didn't really show the new paint colors well.

4th of July weekend , We're back at it!

We moved the well pump away from the foundation. We built a wooden box that will tie in with the stairs to the beach.

The front room walls are an earthy tan, it's time to get going on this place!
We decide to tackle the tile in the bathroom. The 12x12 tiles go up quick.
A little more thinset and we're ready to put up a few more.
Here Pop's is wrapping up the finish electrical.
The tile is up. While we're waiting for the thinset to cure, we'll put down a subfloor for the sheet vinyl.
A little trimming to make room for the door. Did I mention I hate installing doors?
Tile grouted, floor leveled, and the door installed! I think we're done for today.
A few more doors in the hall and we can get started on the flooring
Just about done
Now we can get started on this floor.
That wasn't so bad
Wow, we finished the other room and prepared the front room for flooring.
Oops, a few low areas need to be filled before we can start. I think we're done for the day.
Now we're going! The flooring goes down fast, but it's hard work.
We're almost done! Fitting the last row along the wall and door was the worst of it.
Did I mention we have a nice view, and why is it always nice when we're working inside?
